The plot of the film is based on the real events of the mid-90s of the last century, when the people of Hutu, who made up the ethnic majority in Rwanda, arranged a bloody massacre in the country, destroying more than a million (!) People belonging to the people of Tutsi. The main character of the film named Paul is the manager of the prestigious hotel in the capital of Rwanda, in which several hundred people hid from the killers. The floor does everything in his power to save them. The situation is complicated by the fact that the wife of the floor also belongs to the people of Tutsi. The floor has great connections, it does not disdain either bribery or blackmail. He threatens, begging, flattering ... and saves 1268 people from death.
