The Ghost and the Darkness
The Ghost and the Darkness
1898. London. Young builder Colonel John Patterson receives an urgent task to build a bridge across the river in the African province of TsAVO. Throughout his life he dreamed of traveling to Africa, Patterson, leaving his pregnant wife, hurries to the place of work. A whole army of workers awaits him in place. Despite the difference in religions, all of them are united by one common fear of the lion-loves that have been declared in these parts. On the first day of Patterson`s stay on African land, the lion crippled one of the Indians. Having ambushed, John shot a lion to the great joy of all the working people. Construction progressed successfully until the moment when the workers suddenly began to die again.
