Moscow early 80s. KGB Colonel Sergei Grigoryev, disappointed with the Soviet regime, decides to destroy the system. He establishes contacts with French engineer Pierre Froman. And not so much his information as his activity generally causes burning interest among Western special services. The concerned President of France Francois Mitterran decides to inform a colleague from the United States Ronald Reagan: “Thanks to an incredible spy system, the Soviet Union mines information about recent studies in the field of science and weapons, including US defense system.” As a result, the heads of government decide to make a sales Muscovite by their informant through Fmann. The French call their source of secret data `Farewell`, and the engineer involuntarily becomes a participant in the most loud spying of the 20th century, endangering his life and the life of their loved ones.
