Norway. Winter. The hardworking Niles controls a powerful plowing snowpipe, which cleanses the roads and mountain passages of the inhospitable icy landscape of the area where he lives. More recently, he was recognized as a resident of the year for his efforts, and now he receives the news that his son died as a result of an overdose of heroin. Refusing to believe the truthfulness of the official version of the death of his son, he begins a secret investigation in order to find the alleged killers of the guy. However, further events unfold in the most unpredictable way, and he has to become a mysterious hero who inspires fear in the criminal world.
