France. The young man Jean Berlo is pursued by nightmares in which he is sent to a crazy house. Returning from his mother’s funeral, the young man meets the Marquis, who invites him to spend the night in the castle. There, Berlo became a witness to the blasphemous orgy and "therapeutic" funeral. He is trying to run, but the Marquis insists that he wants to help the guest overcome fears, and leads him to a surrealist crazy house where patients use complete freedom, and medical staff sits behind bars.
