The Dance of Reality
La danza de la realidad
Chile, the 1930s. Revolutionary movements are gaining strength in the country - the totalitarian regime of Ibanyes lives its last days. At this time, a boy named Alehandro Khodorovsky is growing in a family of Jewish refugees from Ukraine, and in the future he was destined to become a famous film director-author. In the meantime, he, gritting his teeth, suffers the tricks of a despotistical stalinist father, blows riding classmates, makes friendship with street prophets and learns a world in which mercy is always replaced by cruelty, and pleasure is unthinkable without suffering.
