The film adaptation of the Autobiographic bestseller Sabina Kugler who received in Germany. In the early 80s of the twentieth century, the German linguist Klaus Kugler, together with his wife and three children, went to the jungle of New Guinea, where he studies the language of a recently discovered native tribe. Unlike other family members, eight -year -old Sabina is quickly mastered in a new place and assimilates many customs and knowledge of natives. However, the family peacefully living in their life does not suspect that she was in the very center of tribal enmity. Despite the mutual desire to stay away from each other, the paths of aliens and natives begin to constantly intersect. Nine years later, the seventeen-year-old Sabina has been forced to leave the new Guinea and gets into the boarding school in Switzerland, where she again meets the world completely alien to herself with her difficulties and conflicts.
