Troubles are pouring on Daniel Hilard, like out of a cornucopia: he loses his job, his wife leaves him and after a divorce he is allowed to see children only once a week! But Daniel finds a way out - changes into a women`s dress and becomes Mrs. Doutfire - an elderly woman. He is hired by his own wife in a housekeeper, and now he can see his children every day.
