The action of the picture unfolds in parallel reality, in America of 1985. In this world, superheroes have become part of the everyday life of society, and the city’s watch, frozen five minutes from midnight, count the time to the collision of the leading world powers. After the murder of one of his former colleagues Rorshah - a superhero, who never removes the masks, is determined to accomplish the Lynch court. He begins an investigation into a conspiracy designed to destroy or discredit all superheroes of the past and present. He collects his associates - a retired legion of fighters with crime, but only one of them has genuine power. Gradually, Rorschach is aware of the frightening scale of the conspiracy associated with the common past of the heroes and promising catastrophic consequences in the future. They keep our peace, but who will protect us from the keepers?
