The film was shot according to the novel of the popular English writer Rut Randell. The main character of the picture, Victor, because of a quarrel with his girlfriend Elena, accidentally wounds a policeman. After 4 years, spent in prison, he learns that the same policeman became a famous basketball player, idol and hero of the audience with fabulous contracts and even married his former girlfriend Elena.
