Joseph and Chloe are wandering around orphanages and insulators for young criminals, without lingering for a long time. They are abandoned by parents, but the dumb Chloe at the moments of nervous excitement with the accuracy and speed of the machine, folds the mosaic of the house in which they once lived. Joseph is struggling to protect Chloe from the outside world, but psychologists assure him that he manipulates his sister, inspiring her with his own subconscious fears and desires. Joseph is difficult to figure out where the truth is, because he and his sister are 12 years old.
