The picture consists of three independent short stories, the action of which takes place at the Arkady Hotel, Memphis, Tennessi. The heroes of the first is a young Japanese couple who made a pilgrimage to the homeland of the king Rock and Roll. It would seem that trivial tourism, but for Jarmusha there is nothing more funny and absurd than everydayness. When a ghost appears in the subsequent short stories and the finger begins, no one is surprised at anything.
