England, XI century. The mother of the ten -year -old Rob Cole dies in terrible torment: no one knows either the nature of her illness or medicine against her. A small robe, shocked to the core, at all costs seeks to solve this secret. He was destined to go a long way, from England to Persia, his teachers first become an ordinary charber, and then the great healer Avicenna. The wise teacher sees an extraordinary talent for medicine in a robe, but advises him not to rush to do things that do not correspond to the eyelid. But Rob stops at all in his desire to learn to save people from death, and a threat hangs over his own life, because he went against prejudices twice: he used the human body for scientific research and fell in love with a woman who was given to his wife to another.
