The film tells about the history of friendship between two elderly people - Emilio and Miguel, who are neighbors in the ward in the nursing home. Emilio was diagnosed with the early stage of Alzheimer`s disease. Miguel and his friends help him to avoid a terrible fate - not to be on the ominous upper floor of the nursing home, also known as the floor of hopeless cases.
