At the beginning of the twentieth century, two comrades were friends in Paris - the Austrian Jules and the Frenchman Jim. They walked, talked, kneaded in the gym, discussed familiar girls with whom the sentimental blond Jules was lucky than Jim, and both wanted happiness. And then a fatal woman - Catherine entered their life. Jules falls in love and asks Jim not to be an obstacle to his novel with a girl. But not everything is so simple. Catherine behaves as if two hearts are beating in her breast, and she fiercely loves Jules, and the second with no less passion for Jim.
