Under the roar of tanks, the whistle of bullets and ruptures of the bombs, the protagonist of the film Gene Tae is trying to save his loved ones, sending them to the seemingly calm south of the Korean peninsula. The family, who joined the columns of refugees who filled the roads of the country, passes through deprivation and testing. But the main misfortune was waiting for Gene-Tay ahead. His younger brother was taken by force into the soldiers. Gene-Taei desperately tried to interfere with the recruiters, but he himself ended up on the new recruits. Inexperienced, untrained, poorly armed guys are immediately thrown into the front line. They were ordered to keep the defense at the Nakdong River and not to give up positions.
