Beauty Grace takes her sick children to the mansion on one of the islands off the coast of England to wait for the end of World War II. The war with which her husband will return. Her daughter and son suffer from a strange disease: they cannot stand direct daylight. When three new servants appear in the house, they should learn a vital rule: all rooms should always be in the twilight, you can’t open the door until the previous one is locked. The strict order established by Grace will be challenged. Grace, children and those who surround them will take a decisive, fatal step.
