What Lies Beneath
The scientist and teacher Norman Spencer and his wife Claire remain alone after their daughter Kaitlin leaves the house and goes to college. Soon, Claire begins to seem that her mind is failing: shed rains and the sounds of quarrels between new neighbors set her in an alarming way, and seeing how a neighbor puts a folded carpet in the trunk, she immediately begins to think about a possible crime. After that, the Claires begin to imagine the murder everywhere, and once she sees the real ghost - the young Madison Frank, who studied in the Norman class and missing a year ago. Despite the fact that Norman considers his wife’s visions the consequences of a car accident in which she once got, Claire herself treats them much more serious and finally decides that the only way to regain peace is to contact Madison`s spirit. When the Claire manages to establish a connection with her and understand why the girl tried so persistently to her to `reach out`, the whole life of the spouses turns over the top of the bottom.
