The film is based on real events from the life of the legendary diver Karl Brashir. His mentor and senior officer Bill Sanday is convinced that Negram has nothing to do in the Navy, and the most cruel and inhuman ways mocks and “cuts off” an ambitious newcomer. However, he does not succeed, and moreover, he soon begins to feel sympathy for this extremely restrained guy , which will more likely die than showing weakness. Together, they try to resist bureaucrats from the command of the Navy, who are not satisfied with the color of the hero’s skin. Carl is always a volunteer to perform the most dangerous secret special operations associated with increased risk to life. However, fate prepared a much more terrible test to him, which only a real hero is capable of overcoming.
