In Nuremberg there is a process over Nazi criminals. The cases of lawyers who served the Nazi regime are obeyed. The main accused is the famous German judge Ernst Yaning, who achieved respect in Germany long before Hitler came to power. The case is conducted by an experienced American judge Den Haywood, who will have to figure out this complex and ambiguous business, because Kona is not so much the life and honor of a person as the post -war life and honor of the entire German people.
