Hachiko Monogatari
Hachiko monogatari
The puppy was born in the northern part of Akita Prefecture in November 1923. The farmer, who once studied at an agricultural school at the University of Imperial (now Tokyo University), decided to give a puppy to his former professor Hoodsaburo Weno. He called the new four-legged pupil of Hati (in Japanese-the eighth), since it was his eighth dog. When Hati grew up, he began to constantly accompany the owner. He went to the city on business daily. Therefore, Hati escorted the professor to the entrance to the Sibuya railway station, and at 3 o’clock in the afternoon he again came to the station to meet him. Once the professor had a heart attack at work. Mr. Weno did not return home. But how was it to explain to the dog? Hati came to the station every day and patiently, until late in the evening he expected the advanced owner.
