The film will tell you about the bright page in the biography of Tergud Marshall, the first African American in the ranks of the US Supreme Court. At the dawn of his career, he gets a controversial case of a black driver, accused of his rich employer of sexual attack. The young Marshall unites with a novice Jewish lawyer, in order to make a sensational statement in defense of the rights and equality of citizens in the era of racism and anti-Semitism.
