Times of great depression. The tramp Frank Chambers is hired by employees on a gas station to the elderly Greek Nick Papadakis, who, together with his young wife, contains the Twern `Two Oaks`. Like a ray of light in a dark kingdom, the appearance of Frank in their house became for the bark. Distributing in a boring, impassive marriage, she falls in love with Frank.
