The young African American, nicknamed ash, moves to the Southern Central, Los Angeles to his father. The ashtray is proud that he and his father look like peers, this, in his opinion, is `very cool.` And also, he is two years older than his dad. He is also proud of his grandmother, who in his advanced years smokes and does not hesitate to be strong words. Soon the ashtray meets with its cousin, nicknamed Lok Dog. This guy is a gangster, in his personal arsenal not only pistols and a machine gun, but also a Soviet -made nuclear warhead - `for self -defense`. The ashtray must choose its further path in life: it can be `just good black or become a “dangerous black”, joining his cousin to the gang.
