Edward and Connie Sumner can be envied: together with an eight-year-old son, a dog and a housekeeper, they enjoy life in a quiet suburb of New York. But the fate in the guise of a young man, whom Connie is faced with Soho, struck this embodiment of the `American dream` and the happy, albeit slightly monotonous existence of spouses. A random meeting develops into a stormy romance, in which there is everything - secret, spontaneity, beauty and ... danger.
