Terms of Service - Flobex Movies

This Terms of Service Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") governs your use of the Flobex Movies platform (hereinafter referred to as "Flobex," "we," "our," "us," or "the Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.


1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

1.1. For the purposes of this Agreement, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them:

1.1.1. "Service Administration" - authorized employees and representatives of Flobex who are responsible for managing the Service, processing personal data, and determining the purposes and methods of such processing.

1.1.3. "Service" - the Flobex Movies platform, including all associated websites, applications, and services accessible through the domain and its subdomains.

1.1.5. "Color Test" - an experimental algorithm for selecting films based on color psychology and user preferences, developed as part of our research project.

1.1.6. "Tag Constructor" - an experimental recommendation system that uses tags and user preferences to suggest relevant content.

1.1.7. "Third-Party Services" - external platforms and services that host the actual content (films, videos, etc.) to which we provide links.

1.1.8. "Device" - equipment (computer, tablet, mobile phone, or other device) that technically provides access to the Service via the Internet.

1.1.9. "Cookies" - small text files that are stored on the User's device and contain information about the User's preferences and activities on the Service.

1.1.10. "IP Address" - a unique numerical identifier assigned to devices connected to the internet, used for network communication and security purposes.


2. NATURE OF THE SERVICE AND NON-COMMERCIAL STATUS

2.1. Experimental Research Project:

Flobex Movies is a non-commercial experimental research project focused on testing and developing recommendation algorithms and user experience technologies. Our primary objectives are:

  • Testing and refining the Color Test algorithm for film recommendations based on color psychology
  • Developing and testing the Tag Constructor recommendation system
  • Researching user behavior and preferences in content discovery
  • Improving recommendation accuracy and user satisfaction

2.2. No Content Hosting or Commercial Revenue:

Important: Flobex does not:

  • Host, store, or stream any films, videos, or other content on our servers
  • Earn any revenue from content distribution or advertising
  • Charge users for access to our recommendation services
  • Own or control any of the content to which we provide links
  • Generate profit from user activity or content consumption

2.3. Third-Party Content Links:

Our Service provides links to content hosted by legitimate third-party platforms and services. We do not:

  • Control the availability, quality, or legality of third-party content
  • Guarantee the accuracy of content information or metadata
  • Assume responsibility for third-party platform policies or practices
  • Endorse or verify the legitimacy of third-party content sources

3. USER RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES

3.1. Free Access to Recommendation Services:

As a User of Flobex, you have the right to:

  • Free Access: Use all our recommendation algorithms and services without any cost

  • The Flobex platform design and user interface
  • Our trademarks, service marks, and brand identity

5.2. Third-Party Content Rights:

5.2.1. We do not own, control, or claim any rights to the content hosted by third-party platforms.

5.2.2. All content rights belong to their respective copyright holders and third-party platforms.

5.2.3. We provide links to content in good faith, believing such links to be legitimate and authorized.

5.3. Copyright Infringement Claims:

Effective Date: This Agreement is effective as of August 05, 2025 and supersedes all previous versions of our terms of service.
