Fletcher Reed is a brilliant lawyer and an incorrigible liar. He, out of habit, lies to his wife Audrey, his son Max and teaches customers to adjust the truth to his needs, redraw the truth for his benefit. The wife throws Fletcher because of his bad habit of lying, and son Max on his birthday, blowing candles on the cake, makes only one desire: "I want my beloved daddy to stop constantly lying."
