Joan Wilder, the author of popular female novels, finds a bag in his mailbox, sent from Columbia by her sister. The phone call confirms the most terrible fears - the sister is abducted, and the kidnappers demand to return the package. Forgetting everything in the world, Joan flies to the aid of his sister and is lost in the first hours after arrival. They are trying to kill her, and only the intervention of Jack Kolton, an American mercenary, will save the girl from death. Together they are waiting for extreme adventures in the jungle, the search for treasures and, of course, a romantic love story.
