The Lake House
The Lake House
Winter 2006. Sensing the need to change his life, Dr. Kate Forester leaves his unusual house by the lake in the suburbs of Illinois and gets to work in the Chicago hospital. On the way to the city, Kate leaves a letter in the mailbox, which the new inhabitant of the house should receive. When the talented but disappointed architect Alex Waitler is instructed in it, he sees this house not at all what Kate described him in his letter. For Alex, this dwelling is of particular importance, since it was built by his father, a famous architect, who left his family for his career. As a result, Alex decides to give the house his original appearance. Once a strange case makes Alex write a response from Kate. In the process of their correspondence, it turns out that he lives in 2004, and she in 2006. And only a mysterious mailbox serves as a kind of bridge connecting them.
