Young students Peter, Thomas and Arvid are crazy about swing music. And this is a big problem, because the heroes live in the 1939 Hamburg, the incendiary rhythms of the swing are prohibited by Hitler as an American ideological infection, so their passion can cost them not only freedom, but also their heads. Alas, the guys are too young to evaluate the whole risk of their play in the rebels: in the afternoon - members of the Hitler Youth, in the evening they selflessly swing and with contempt talking about the Fuhrer. The game is the end when the Gestapo grabs Peter`s father for sympathy for the Jews, and the heroes themselves fall into the view of the SS officer. For the swingers, the time for severe trials came - as for the whole world, in front of the eyes of a global war falling into hell.
