The story of the 11-year-old Tilda, who simply loves her grandfather Amandus. When Alzheimer`s disease is diagnosed with this, and her parents, in her opinion, want to get rid of him, having handed over to the nursing home, she takes the situation into her own hands and runs away with her grandfather in fairy -tale Venice. The city is chosen by chance. After all, almost half a century ago, Amandus made a man and heart an offer to Tilda’s grandmother. Now the granddaughter hopes that when he was there, his grandfather will become better, and he will remember something.
