Angels do not live in heaven. They invisibly present next to people, listening to their thoughts and directing their actions, encouraging and comforting in moments of despair. But for them there is no world of human feelings: the taste of black coffee, pain of a cut finger or love. Therefore, some of them are so drawn to people, and sometimes the angel loses his wings and turns into a simple mortal. Which is what is happening with the hero of the film, whom love for a woman fascinated to earth.
