Timbuktu
Timbuktu
When religious fundamentalists come to the authorities of Timbukta, the life of ordinary people turns into hell, in which any entertainment, music, laughter and any attempts of dissent are prohibited. Far from all this madness, outside the city line, Kidan lives with his wife Satima, the daughter of Toyya and their 12-year-old son, the young shepherd Issan. For the time being, they manage to lead a peaceful life, while the injustice will be made every day very close to them. Everything changes on the day when Kidan accidentally kills a local fisherman who stabbed his beloved cow. All the evil of the world from which the hero and his family wanted to stay away collapse on them.
