Hot summer in Berlin: Nick and Catherine live in the same apartment building in East Berlin. Nick does not know how to hide his feelings and she always has everything ready for everything. Such is she in her work - she takes care of the elderly. Catherine is divorced, for many years I have been looking for work and raising a teenage son. Girlfriends spend warm summer nights on a balcony in a nickname: they drink, laugh, gossip and they have enough of each other`s society. Until the driver of the Ronald truck is bursting into their life.
