Former Soldier Jerry is trying to become an artist in the post -war Paris. And he has some success, finding a rich patroness who buys his paintings and recommends them to his friends. Once he enters the night club and meets Lisa and young people instantly fall in love. But later she suddenly reports that she was engaged to his friend. Both Jerry and Lisa act noble, deciding not to meet anymore.
