Cesar works as a concierge in a small residential building in Barcelona. He is deeply unhappy and seeks at least some reason for further existence. Day after day, he does his work and, while none of the inhabitants of the house pays much attention to him, he himself tirelessly watches them. He knows every little thing in their lives, everything about them, and especially about one of them.
