The film takes place during the Second World War. Max is a gay, and the Nazis send him to the Dachau concentration camp. He is trying to deny that he is gay, and he is given yellow patch that gave Jews (in German concentration camps, each group of prisoners wore a strip of a certain color: two yellow triangles who symbolized the star of David, green triangles - recidivists, red to political criminals, and The pink triangle - gays, a black triangle marked prisoners with antisocial behavior, under which lesbianism fell). In the camp, Max falls in love with another prisoner named Horst, which wears its pink triangle without hesitation. Both men with the help of love try to at least somehow forget from the horrors of the camp.
