Doctors make a jenet erroneous diagnosis - schizophrenia, and it is placed in a hospital and treated for 8 years, including an electric shock. But Jenet manages to continue his work and even get a literary prize for his first collection of stories. It is thanks to the award received that she manages to avoid lobotomy and leave the psychiatric hospital. Jenet supports the famous Novo-Zeland writer, and after publishing a new book and receiving a literary grant, she leaves New Zealand and goes to Europe.
