Adventurer Franciska Manuel da Silva, working on tin mines in Brazil at the beginning of the 19th century, having killed the offender, becomes a bandit of Cobra Verde. Hiding from punishment, he gets into Bayia, where, being a overseer on the plantations of Don Octaviu Coutine, seduces his daughters.
