After graduating from school, Mike gets up to work as a caretaker in the city pool on the outskirts of London. There he gets acquainted with a spectacular red -haired Susan, which is in high demand among men. For the first time seeing her, Mike can no longer think about anyone else. Susan is much older than T -shirt, but he continues to stubbornly seek her attention, once receiving a reward for his patience. Upon learning that his lover`s affair with a married swimming instructor, Mike tries to intervene in their relationship, and this leads to a tragic finale.
