About the life and tragic death of Joe Orton, the playwright of the homosexual, whose short but brilliant career presented the world with brilliant farms `prey` (`Loot`), `entertaining Mr. Slown` (`Entertaining Mr Sloane`) and `What saw the butler` ( `What The Butler Saw`). He was born in Leacher, England, and died at the age of 34 in 1967, when his lover Kenneth Holliwell broke his skull with a hammer, and then swallowed two handfuls of Nembutal to commit himself. The picture begins with this gloomy event, then the biography of the playwright is served in the form of retrosprication, the biographer John Lar explores the short life of Orton.
