A car repair shop, in which four loving beer, cards and cigarettes of friends work under the threat of bankruptcy. They are overshadowed by a `brilliant` idea to find a sponsor and run to the Rotterdam marathon. But they are all under fifty years. They are determined to finish and persuade them to be their coach of the lame emigrant-egyptian. For the protagonist, not only the garage, but also his own life is at stake.
