The peaceful farmer Josi Wales was put on a gang attack by Soldier`s soldier during the Civil War in the United States. His wife and child were killed, and he, obsessed with revenge, takes the side of the southerners. The southerners were defeated, but Joshi did not lay down their weapons. Now he is a man outlawed, who is haunted by a gang of killers. A group of outcasts, which Wayles will protect in the upcoming alterations, will be a company of lone avenger in his dangerous journey.
