A Touch of Spice
Politiki kouzina
Fanis was born in an ordinary Greek family, but spent his childhood in Turkey under the supervision of his grandfather, who was not only an excellent cook, but also a philosopher. Grandfather lived on the principle of `in life as in food, there is always a place for spices.` A person must be able to add significant events to life in order to give it a certain `aroma`. Fanis grew up and under his leadership became a first -class cook. Fate shared them, and Fanis spent his mature years in Athens, trying to be not only an excellent culinary specialist on his grandfather’s order, but also, if possible, to “sweeten” the life of the people around him. After many years, Fanis returns to Istanbul, to the old grandfather and a woman who had once been his first love, and only then understands that he forgot to leave at least a pinch of fragrant pepper for himself.
