The history of take -off and falling of the career of one Prague waiter in the first half of the twentieth century. An ambitious young man from a waiter at the hotel of a small Czech border town enters a huge hotel in the center of Prague, and even awards from Emperor Abyssinia. But a real take -off of the waiter’s career happens after the capture of Czechoslovakia by German troops.
