Nothing Personal
Nothing Personal
A young woman and an elderly sage challenge each other and experience a story about personal freedom and affection. She is a young Dutch woman who, after abandoning her entire property, becomes a tramp and finds her loneliness in the strict landscapes of Ireland. He is an old man who lives a secluded life in an isolated house in Ireland. She is radical and uncompromising. He is wise and ironic. What unites them is loneliness that they both regard as freedom. He invites her to work for him in exchange for food. She agrees, but on one condition: there will be no personal contact between them, only work. Soon both become interesting to each other, but both want to maintain the consent about `nothing personal`, and violate it. Their simple life follows in a cycle of days and nights, work and rest, but slowly brings the heroes of the film to each other. Who will first violate the deal and allow personal interest?
