The main character, Italian Jamma, goes with her 16-year-old son Pietro in Sarajevo. She wants to show Pietro his hometown and tell about his father Diego, whom he never knew. At the airport, Jamma is met by her old friend Goyko, who in 1984 during the Winter Olympiad introduced her to Genoa Diego - the love of her whole life.
