The film about the adventurer, who imposed on the famous director of Mochsen Mahmalbaf, entered the prosperous house (supposedly for filming) and was arrested on suspicion of fraud and robbery. The trial is the plot outline of the film, but its true object is a special status of cinema in Iran. Cinema here became not only part of the spiritual life of the elite, but also an element of personal and national prestige, the property of the broad masses.
