Thousands, millions of people seek the United States of America in search of a better life, hoping for the fulfillment of their most cherished desires. The family of theater actor Johnny moves from Ireland to New York to start his life again and get rid of the ghosts of the past. Almost a mystical evil rock pursued them, grief settled in their house, and they were forced to flee to save their family. Without money and with property in the form of a pair of suitcases, an old car and video cameras, but full of optimism and faith in their own strength, Johnny and his wife Sarah are trying to adapt to the cruel and strange morals of New York. Their daughters are ten -year -old Christie and little Ariel, on the contrary, consider America a magical country where wonderful people live. Oddly enough, it is precisely the faith of daughters in the kindness of people and love for all those around him that Johnny and Sarah will save the family from decay.
