This is England ` - the history of the summer holidays stretching for more than one week between the semesters, when events can occur that change life forever. In the yard 1983, and classes at school have recently ended. 12-year-old Sean is a lonely boy living in a dull coastal town, whose father died a few months ago in the Falkland War. During the summer holidays, Sean finds a suitable role model, when the company of local skinheads-teenage accepts it. With his new friends, he opens the world of parties, first love and stylish shoes. Here, Sean meets Combo, the older than all of them, a skinhead-racist, who has just recently left prison. While the group under the leadership of the Combo spends time mocking the local representatives of ethnic minorities, the rite of the initiation of Sean is approaching, which will mean for him farewell to child purity and innocence and unforgettable life experience.
